Nowadays, diversity is typical in our industry and it is very common to deal with clients from different countries and cultures. However, possible challenges of diversity cannot be ignored. Challenges like language barriers or cultural differences may affect relations with existing or potential clients. In order to avoid and conflicts and be prepared you need to:

  1. Familiarize yourself with cultural basics
  2. Pay attention to your gestures
  3. Take cues from clues; take your cues from the other person’s communication
  4. Start reserved, avoid slang or formalities.
